We're looking for our next team leader to make an impact on the Marketing side at Mailbird, and are ready to offer our next hire the environment to make it happen.

We're not looking for a regular Head of Marketing. We're looking at giving a creative and out-of-the-box thinking talent the opportunity to (litterally) send Mailbird to the Moon. 

You will be responsible for initiating, driving, and implementing marketing initiatives that make an impact, and to set Mailbird on the path to 1 million paid users.


We're a fast-moving, award-winning company that focuses on making email management as easy and enjoyable as it can be, especially in a multi-email accounts context. Currently on Windows, but we’re working on a cross platform version, to be released first on macOS, then Windows and later to mobile devices.

Responsibilities:

  • Making an impact on business metrics (downloads and revenue) through creative marketing efforts.
  • Work closely with the rest of the Growth Team to manage successful cross team projects.
  • Set digital marketing campaign targets and build strategies to help achieve them.
  • Monitor KPIs and set up mechanisms to measure multiple campaigns across many online channels.
  • Draw meaningful conclusions from campaign data and identify potential opportunities for improvement.
  • Identify short-term and long-term marketing opportunities that can scale.
  • Keep up to date with our audience’s preferences and proactively suggest new campaigns.
  • Gather feedback from sales and analyze consumer behavior to define our company’s positioning.
  • Developing brand architecture, positioning and strategy.
  • Support efforts to help the SEO Team.
  • Build relationships with journalists, influencers and bloggers.
  • Secure and analyze media coverage.

Job requirements

  • Able to work in, and thrive, in a fast-paced, changing and dynamic environment.
  • Has a high level of creativity, blended with a solid understanding of technology.
  • Highly familiar with the best trends and practices in Digital Marketing, Marketing Campaigns and Digital PR.
  • Proven track record of B2C or pro-sumers marketing success.
  • Experienced with Low LTV Business models and its consequences on acquisition efforts.
  • Experience launching new digital products – Mac is a great PLUS.
  • Understands deeply the constraints of unit economics on a business model.
  • Project management skills, and a very high attention to detail.
  • Knows what A/B Testing is.
  • Data-driven and highly analytical.
  • Positive and energetic.
  • Experience with marketing automation software a plus.
